Elizabeth Lake, the larger of the two lakes, occupies 725 acres and is one of Kenosha County's most popular fishing and recreational lakes. Lake Mary is the smaller of the two lakes and is located directly north of Elizabeth Lake. Conveniently located east of Highway 12, Twin Lakes is one of the area’s most easily accessible lakes, making it an ideal destination for both full-time residents and vacationers. With over 1,000 acres of water, it has some of the most coveted lakefront real estate. For many, one of the greatest aspects of living in Twin Lakes is its fabulous dining options. Whether you love chic cafes or waterfront dining, here are some of the area’s best restaurants. To start your day off right, head to Bodi’s Bake Shop. Located in downtown Twin Lakes, Bodi’s Bake Shop is a charming bakery that prepares fresh donuts, cupcakes, and pastries every morning. For a quaint lunchtime restaurant, try Manny’s Snack Shack. Known for its cheerful outdoor patio and fabulous brunch options, Manny’s Snack Shack is one of the area’s coziest restaurants.

 

After a long day out on the water, there is nothing better than stopping in a waterfront restaurant and sitting on an outdoor deck.
